Avatar

If you haven't yet seen Avatar, you really should. It's a well-made film with a deep, vital message. Keep your eye out for different references to indigenous tribes of planet Earth that help make up the Pandora tribe of Na'vi--I noticed a few. Think about the movie afterward (how can you not?), and keep the messages about protecting mother Earth in your mind. I didn't see it in 3D, but I heard it's even more incredible if you do. Either way, try to see it. It's definitely worth it.

Check out the trailer here.

  1. I LOVED Avatar and I knew you would too, with all the references to native cultures and the environment. Everyone should see it!

  2. I loved this movie! There were so many layers to it ... how we treat the earth and each other ... man's greed and it's affects on everything. And it was hopeful as well!

I'm like you ... I recommend it to everyone!

  3. I went to see it in IMAX 3D...and it was so amazing, I went back to see it again the next day. Both showings were completely sold out shows--I made some new friends :)

The best part is that my boyfriend has more respect for nature as a result. I really hope there are more movies as good as this one in the future!
